Soccer Academy

Considering high level club play? Need to improve for college scholarship opportunities? Want to combine soccer with your education? The DME Sports Soccer Academy is uniquely designed and built within our campus environment to balance school and soccer to help you achieve your education and athletic goals. 

DME Soccer Academy provides a distinctive opportunity for intense, elite soccer training under the tutelage of our high-level soccer coaches. For the inaugural year of DME Soccer Academy, the number of participants will be limited to allow us to focus on the individual development needs of each player. If you choose to combine education with our soccer program, Xceed at DME provides a strong support system for our student-athletes to help them achieve their academic and athletic goals. 

With options for boarders and commuters, National and International players, as well as 3 & 5 days per week plans, DME Soccer Academy will customize a plan for your player’s needs and help you succeed!

Program Plans

Premier: Full Time Soccer Academy Students: Academy student-athletes that choose the Premier plan will attend on and off field training 5 days per week.

Championship: Part-time Soccer Academy Students: Soccer Academy Students that choose the Championship plan will attend on and off field training 3 days per week.

DME Training Principles

Inside of our seasons are the DME Soccer training principles which allow athletes to become well-rounded and best prepare them for their athletic goals.

  • Position Specific training (Goalkeepers, Defenders, Midfielders, Attackers)
  • Shooting, tackling, passing
  • Team training
  • How to work best in a team environment 
  • How to help your team win
  • Speed and Agility training
  • Improving speed and agility with and without the ball
  • How to prepare your body for your next workout or game
  • Rest and Recovery
  • How to properly finish a workout, and best recover your body and mind with good nutrition and sleep
  • Understanding the game
  • Teaching with use of on the field sessions as well as video lessons.

Training Seasons

DME Soccer Seasons: Among the many skill areas that will be explored at DME Soccer Academy:

Pre-season: August – September

  • Prepare to compete  
  • Physical testing
  • Focus on fitness and endurance to prepare an athlete for their season
  • Setting goals for the season to come

Competitive Season: September – April

  • Maintain your performance level  
  • Rotating of training both indoor/outdoor to make sure that athletes are peaking during their competitive seasons

Post-Season: April-May

  • Reviewing pre-season goals
  • Physical testing 
  • Post-season preparation
  • Off-season goals and plans

A Day in The Life: DME Soccer Academy Curriculum

Although this list gives an outline of the regular itinerary, the advantage of working with our skilled professional coaches and teachers is that they will be able to adjust the daily schedule to adapt to the needs of the Soccer Academy student-athletes.

Based on our 9-month program that follows our school year (Mid-Aug through Mid-May), here is our pricing for DME Soccer Academy. Please inquire about soccer only training on a monthly basis.
