Paul Crichton

PAUL CRICHTON / Director of Soccer

Paul started his professional soccer career at Nottingham Forest FC. He made his debut at the age of 17 and went on to play for numerous soccer clubs throughout his 22-year career. During this time, Paul amassed 540 first team appearances and gained 2 promotions. One of the promotions was with Norwich City FC into the Premiership. Paul played for Aston Villa FC when they were in the premiership and won several player of the year awards during his time in soccer

Paul retired from full time soccer when he was 38 years old and moved into coaching.

Paul’s 10 year coaching career to date has given him chance to coach full international players, such as Harry Maguire, current England and Leicester City player, Robert Green, Fraser Forster, Southampton FC goalkeeper, Charlie Austin, Southampton FC striker and more. Paul has gained his UEFA ‘A’ License in both outfield and goalkeeper coaching. He has worked for some of the most prestigious managers and had a spell as assistant manager with Jose Riga at Blackpool FC in the Championship League in England.

Paul has studied on the English FA Advanced Youth Award and holds a Generic Tutor qualification.
