Sports Performance Training

Advanced Class: 
  • 4:30-6:00pm (Monday through Thursday)
  • Ages 16 and up
  • $30 for one class or $400 for 16 classes ($25 a class)
Intermediate Class: 
  • 5:00-6:00pm (Monday through Thursday)
  • Ages 12 and up
  • $25 for one class or $320 for 16 classes ($20 a class)

Strength Coach

Alex Richard, MS, CSCS
Director of Sports Performance 

Alex is in his first year as the Director of Sports Performance at DME Academy.

Alex joins DME after a five-year stint at Southern Miss where he was the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for men’s basketball and women’s soccer. Richard also worked with women’s basketball, men’s tennis, women’s volleyball, and football while at Southern Miss.

Alex graduated with his master's degree in exercise science from Southern Miss in 2018. He graduated with his bachelor's degree in Health Promotion & Wellness from Wisconsin Steven’s Point in 2016. While at UWSP, Alex was a four-year member of the men’s basketball team. Richard was a captain and leading scorer of the 2015 NCAA Division III National Championship team.

Alex is a certified strength & conditioning specialist from the NSCA.

Rachel Saenz 
Sports Performance Coach

Rachel is in her first year as a Sports Performance Coach at DME Academy.

She earned her Associates' degree in Health Sciences from Merritt College (CA) and her Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science & Exercise Biology from the University of California Davis. During her tenure at Merritt College, she was a multi-sport athlete in soccer and track & field.

At UC Davis, Rachel worked with the track, volleyball, softball, and golf programs. She was most recently employed at Sacramento State University where she worked with the football, basketball, soccer, and volleyball programs.

Our Facilities

Our elite facilities consist of a 47,000 square foot Field House which features 7 basketball courts and a strength and conditioning center. With 7 volleyball courts on campus, four sand/beach courts, and a 60x40 turf field used for performance training, athletes are training on state of the art equipment. Additionally, DME boasts a  wellness center & spa and 25,000 square foot Ice Arena for our hockey program.
