James Washington


Women’s PG Team Head Coach

James “Boogie” Washington has been coaching the game of basketball for over 20+ years. In 2010 he founded the Havoc City Elite girls basketball program. In 2013 Coach Boogie was hired as the Head Girls Basketball Coach of Forestville HS, his alma mater, where he was a player on the last State Championship team in 1995. In his second year his team finished the season by winning a Regional Championship, the first in 30 years and the first Girls State Championship in the school’s history. In 2016, the Lady Knights ended the season with another county, regional and state championship in the MD 1A division. They finished the season 25-2 (5 100+ point games) and with a national ranking ESPN #7 and Max Preps #5. The Lady Knights averaged 76 ppg. With the school’s closing, Coach Boogie was able to start a new program at Rock Creek Christian Academy remaining nationally ranked and competing against top programs.

Since the existence of Havoc City, several athletes have graduated from High School and are playing DI/DII/ JuCo basketball.

Coach Boogie has now relocated from the DMV to Daytona Beach and is the Head Coach of the post graduate girls program at DME Sports Academy.
