We’re happy to see CEO Lance Blanks and his family are reportedly safe and out of harm’s way from the destruction of Hurricane Harvey.

In the nick of time, Lance and his older daughter, Riley, were able to evacuate Lance’s parents from the Southeast Region of Houston (in Clear Lake) to Austin, Texas. Younger daughter, Bryn, traveled to Texas with Direct Relief to cover the storm in an effort to gain support for victims of Hurricane Harvey. There is no telling how long Lance’s parents will be displaced from their homes, or what state their homes will be in when they return, but for now everyone is secure.
